A little bit about Rob

Prior to working at Armour, Rob started and ran a successful marketing company for over 13 years. With creativity and energy, Rob manages to make any topic (yes, even insurance) fun and interesting. Music is one of Rob’s biggest passions and he has been involved in the Edmonton music scene since the 90’s. Next time you're out at a festival or pub you might see him playing with his band.

We asked Rob: "What's one of your favourite memories from working at Armour over the years?"

"In the Marketing Department, we run several contests each year. While organizing a contest can be a lot of work, handing the prize off to the winner can be a lot of fun. I once drove to a rural property east of Red Deer to present a trip to Bermuda to one of our customers. She was very excited and extremely grateful. It certainly is a uniquely rewarding experience.

On the way back, however, my car broke down and I had to tow it to Red Deer. It was too late to find any type of ride back to Edmonton and I was stranded in Red Deer for the evening. Luckily, my wife was with me and we met up with an old friend and had a good night. A big thanks goes out to our friend Cathy who drove all the way to pick us up the next day."
