Commercial Broker
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team at Armour Insurance Group Ltd. Working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager you'll provide top-notch insurance advice to Alberta businesses and ensure they get the coverage they need to protect their livelihood. If you value relationships, have excellent communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving, we want you on our team!
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Provide professional and timely insurance advice to clients, ensuring they receive the best coverage for their assets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and a genuine desire to solve their insurance needs.
- Arrange and manage premium financing contracts.
- Communicate coverages and policies to clients in a clear manner, making them easily understandable.
- Maintain our standards and internal protocols for client service, accounts receivable, file documentation, broker management system workflows, etc.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and cooperative workplace culture.
- Utilize Applied Systems (Epic) software for managing client information and insurance processes.
DO YOU FIT THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
- At minimum, an Alberta Level 1 General Insurance License.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an insurance broker specializing in commercial lines.
- Superior customer service and relationship-building skills with a passion for learning about different businesses and industries.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A desire to work in a team-oriented environment and actively engage with colleagues.
- A high level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite and working in insurance company portals.
- Experience with Applied Systems (Epic) software is an asset.
- The possession of or desire to obtain a RIBO license is an asset.
