We are seeking an experienced insurance professional for the position of Commercial Lines Manager to lead our Commercial Division.

Responsibilities
- Be a role model for what a high performing broker looks like.
- Promote the company vision, goals and core values.
- Mentor and coach the commercial lines team to ensure that they meet all targets and goals.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to effectively identify, discuss and solve issues.
- Actively participate in the weekly management meeting to improve and grow the business.
- Prepare the annual departmental plan to achieve corporate objectives.
- Conduct regular performance meetings with all commercial brokers and set quarterly goals.
- Manage a commercial book of business – place new business, review accounts and provide strong customer service.
- Ensure timely collection of all commercial accounts.
Requirements
- A strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a high performing environment.
- Level 2 License is mandatory; completion of CAIB and/or CIP is preferred.
- An expert in your field – highly experienced in multiple lines of commercial insurance and strong knowledge of commercial underwriting.
- Preference to candidates with experience leading insurance teams.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and communication skills.
- High degree of adaptability and effectiveness.
- Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
