Armour Insurance is seeking one full-time Processing and Invoicing Specialist for our North Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will be an individual with administrative experience, who is a self starter and a detail oriented individual. Our Armour Insurance Group Ltd. team pride ourselves in being true representatives for their client’s best interests and we provide them with the tools to do this. A positive attitude and determination to provide exceptional service to clients, brokers, and company will help ensure your success at Armour.
What you need to qualify:
- Possess administrative experience in a busy office environment
- Utilize strong reading skills and identify errors in processing documents
- Work towards 100% accuracy within scope of responsibilities
- Maintain high level of attention to detail on a daily basis
- Achieve General Insurance Level 1 or willing to be licensed
- Mature, adaptable, and willing to grow with the position
- Work within a team environment but independently efficient—requires minimal supervision
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing work processes
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and touch-typing at 40 wpm
- Use TAM (The Agency Manager) Applied Systems and Insurance Portals is an asset
What you will be doing:
- Process and verify accuracy of incoming insurance documents
- Perform data entry to ensure client information is accurate
- Work with endorsements, cancellations, new business, rewrites, and required documents
- Provide reception coverage for Administrative Assistant (lunches and vacations)
- Assist brokers with processing documents and follow up when required
- Contact brokers to clarify issues or missing information
- Complete portal entry of new business and policy changes to various insurance companies
