Armour Insurance is seeking a Commercial Producer for our Edmonton office.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and licensed commercial lines broker who is a highly motivated sales individual. A strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a high performing environment will help ensure your success at Armour.

 

Responsibilities

  • Place new business, review accounts, and provide strong customer service
  • Offer solutions to clients and offer insightful tips to provide the best solutions for clients
  • Manage book of business and be proactive to prevent errors and omissions
  • Review files and accounts for accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and communication skills
  • Contact underwriters and prepare documentation for insureds
  • Adapt to a team environment but work efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Achieve and exceed monthly production targets
  • High degree of adaptability and effectiveness

 

Requirements

  • Obtain Level 2 License is mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Possess 2+ years experience as a Commercial customer service representative or insurance agent
  • CIP or CAIB designation completed or focused on continuing education
  • Working knowledge of TAM, Compu-Quote, and insurance portals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Able to multi-task and work in a demanding environment
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting commercial regulations

 

Compensation

Compensation is comprised of a base salary that is determined by your personal education, work experience, and accomplishments in the Insurance Industry. We provide incentives for new business production and account retention.
