Aviva Insurance announced Friday that the Aviva Community Fund is back for a seventh year with another $1 million in funding to help create positive change in your community.The competition has been simplified and some of the processes streamlined to make it easier for everyone to participate while creating an even greater opportunity to win a portion of the $1 million fund.
Here's What's New
One Voting Round: Rather than three rounds of voting, the 2015 Aviva Community Fund competition will only have one round of voting, which will run from October 6 to 23. This will make the process easier for idea submitters and voters.
Streamlined Categories: Aviva believes that good projects come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking to solve a problem, speed up an ongoing project, or secure funding for a charity close to your heart, this is your chance to make a real difference. There are now three idea categories:
- Community Resilience (environment, climate, disaster relief and prevention)
- Community Health (health, sport, active living and play)
- Community Development (education, skills training, culture, research and basic needs.
