Alberta's Superintendent of Insurance, Darren Hedley, released a bulletin yesterday approving the use of electronic pink cards in Alberta. This is a victory for Albertan consumers, insurance brokers and insurance companies who have been pushing for this change for years.
If you're anything like me, this may sound familiar. I received my insurance renewal in the mail with updated pink cards enclosed last year. But, rather than opening the letter, reviewing my coverages and putting my new pink cards directly into my vehicle, I put it on the bureau to review later. Then 3 months later, I got pulled over for pulling a u-turn right in front of an undercover police officer and discovered that my pink cards are still at home on the bureau. Now, with Armour Mobile, your pink card and all of your insurance information is always at your fingertips.
