In the summer of 2022, Armour Insurance partnered with Aviva Canada and the Canadian division of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to create a native plant garden for the Armour Edmonton office (located at 5750 75st NW). Where their was once gravel, rocks, and dust, there is now a brilliant garden full of plants native to the area. 

As a part of a commitment to combatting climate change, Aviva (one of our fantastic partners) has announced an electric vehicle initiative. This exciting new initiative will be available for personal use electric powered vehicles. 

Early this year Aviva Insurance announced an insurance first in Canada when they launched their Overland Water Coverage (Flood Insurance) for personal property insurance. There was some speculation about what this new endorsement protects Aviva customers from and whether or not it affects any existing coverages that Aviva clients had at the time of the announcement.

In anticipation of the June 1 launch, we attended an Aviva information session this week to answer some of these questions. Here is what you need to know about how this new endorsement affects current and future Aviva Insurance customers:

Aviva Insurance has launched their annual Aviva Community fund campaign and it's off to a roaring start. Over 400 community focused ideas have been submitted from across Canada in hopes that they will be chosen to share in the competition's $1,000,000 in prizes.

In a bulletin released today, Aviva Insurance has stated that the have mobilized their CAT team in Central Alberta. They have dispatched a number of appraisers and set up two drive-in appraisal centres in Airdire in an effort to expedite the appraisals of vehicles damaged in the August 7th hail storm.
