Aviva Insurance has launched their annual Aviva Community fund campaign and it's off to a roaring start. Over 400 community focused ideas have been submitted from across Canada in hopes that they will be chosen to share in the competition's $1,000,000 in prizes.
This is the 6th year for the Aviva Community fund and their seeing more and more entrants every year. Last years winners from the Alberta area include the SAINT-ANDRÉ Playground Project in Beaumont and Shelter from the Storm, a humane animal rescue team from Edmonton.
Only 40 of these ideas will be awarded funding this year. If you'd like to get involved just register at the Aviva Community fund website and you can vote for up to 15 of your favourite ideas every day! The voting has already started, but if you have an idea, you can still submit it once registered.
