How to get the Donor mark on your driver's licence
If you want to add the "donor" mark to your driver's licence it's pretty simple. Next time you're making a change to your driver's licence, ask the agent of the registry office to have it added to your licence. This can be when you're renewing, changing addresses, or replacing a damaged/lost ID card.
Register Online for Organ and Tissue Donation
In the information package included with a driver's licence, they provide some basic instructions on how to register for organ donation online. You will need your Alberta healthcare card to submit your registration. Here is a step by step on how to register:
1. Go to www.myhealth.alberta.ca
2. Scroll down and select the organ donation registration
3. Select "Proceed"
4. Select "Enter, Change, or Withdraw Registration"
5. Enter your information
6. Select your donation preferences
7. Submit your selections
