The impact that the Coronavirus is having on industries around the world seems to be spreading wider everyday. The travel industry is one that continues to be affected. Some recent changes we've seen with travel insurance companies reflect that this industry will continue to be affected for some time yet.

Economical Insurance has announced that they have launched a new accident towing service for customers with private passenger and light commercial vehicles. This service is available to Economical Insurance customers anywhere in North America.

The first piece of dash cam footage I saw was taken from a police cruiser in the Southern US. The officer had pulled over a woman for speeding and she wasn't very please with him. The Canadian Condominium Institute has announced changes to the Condominium Property Regulations that may  leave condo unit owners holding a bill for up to $50,000. The changes that took effect on January 1, 2020 will allow condo corporations to seek recovery of insurance deductibles from an owner for damages that originate from the owner's unit.

On Monday, October 4th Alberta's Superintendent of Insurance released three bulletins clarifying and updating rules on how insurance companies operate in our province. These notices replace various updates issued in 2016 and, if violated, could result in hefty fines for Insurance Companies doing business in Alberta.
