In response to the hail storms that hit Alberta on July 21, 2015, Aviva Canada has mobilized its CAT team to the area. They have dispatched appraisers and set up drive-in appraisal centres in Lethbridge, Calgary (two centres), Red Deer (two centres), Lacombe, Ponoka and Hinton to assess vehicle damage. If you have home or car insurance with Aviva, read on.
In a recent bulletin Aviva has stated that "a significant number of claims, both auto and property, have already been reported to us." Their goal is to contact all customers within 24 hours, but because of the large volume of claims, Aviva expects to have delays in response time.
